The quality also comes through in how quiet this vacuum is, especially compared to the typical Dirt Devil scream machine. I can even use it in the apartment at night without worrying so much about disturbing sleeping neighbors. Finally, with the removable battery pack and external charging system, the lifespan of the product isn't limited by the battery. One can only hope that the battery lasts a long time though, because it costs as much as competing vacuum cleaners.

I feel I have to deduct a star for value because of the cost of the product and replacement batteries, but I still really like the Hoover for how well it works and its overall top-of-the-line quality.
